Come on down to Cool River Tubing Company, located at the Gateway to the Mountains and the heart of Alpine Helen Georgia We are just about an hour north of Atlanta, GA. Here you can enjoy a fun-filled 1 hour or 2 hour tube adventure down the Chattahoochee River in the North Georgia Mountains. Floating down the river is a great way to reduce stress and enjoy the peace and serenity of the north Georgia mountains in beautiful Alpine Helen.

We have two different locations. Our main headquarters is located behind the Alpine Village Shoppes and across from the Welcome Center on Edelweiss Strasse. Our other facility is located at the North end of Helen at the intersection of Chattahoochee River Rd and Hwy 75. Which ever location you may choose you can be confident our dedicated and helpful staff will assist you to get everything you need for your tubing adventure down the “HOOCH”.

Whether you’ve got lots of time or a little time, Cool River has a trip for you. We offer two different adventures that we refer to as our short ride and long ride. If you only need a little relaxation take our short ride. It puts you in a little further down the river and takes about and hour to float you to the take out point. However, if you are among the most of us who need more time to destress and relax, our long ride is just the ticket. It puts you in at our north location which is a little further up the river and gives you about 2 hours of pure peace and serenity as you float to our take out point.

Relax and enjoy your adventure by knowing your personal belongings are safe and secure by purchasing one of our lockers which are monitored by one of our highly dedicated staff members.

After your return, come on in to our outpost and grab a hand dipped Mayfield Ice Cream cone or choose from a great variety of food from our concession and hang around in our picnic area chatting with friends and family. Don’t forget before your departure to make sure you view the pictures of you and your friends and family coming down the river, which are available for purchase or pick up a Cool River souvenir to remember your adventure with Cool River on the “Hooch”
